Why is water conservation important?
Water is an important natural resource for sustaining all life. It is important to conserve water in anyway that we can to ensure that there will always be enough clean water for everyone and the environment. Texas experiences frequent drought and we rely on rainfall to recover our ground water sources such as the Edward’s Aquifer, which is the source for many of Central Texas’ beloved swimming spots like the San Marcos River and the Barton Springs Pool.
